The Dermatology Laser Center of San Antonio has used the Erbium:yag laser from HGM, Inc. since 1997. This laser has resurfacing capabilities which complement those of the center's CO2 laser, the Luxar NovaPulse. Erbium:yag treatments heal faster than other resurfacing methods and offer advantages for patients with darker skin and with acne or other scarring.
